Definition
An angstrom, symbolized Å, is a unit of length equal to one ten-billionth of a meter, or 0.1 nanometer. It is commonly used in astronomy and physics to describe wavelengths of light and the spacing between atoms. The unit is named after Swedish physicist Anders Jonas Ångström.
Astrological Meaning
The angstrom is not a traditional astrological symbol, placement, aspect, or predictive technique. Its relevance comes through astronomy, especially spectroscopy, in which wavelengths measured in angstroms help identify the chemical composition, temperature, and motion of stars.
