After the Weinstein’s verdict was delivered, Weinstein was diverted to the hospital due to heart pulses and high blood pressure. This is very typical with Uranus cycles. Weinstein’s chart has progressed Moon triggering a natal configuration that involves Uranus, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Mercury, and Jupiter. Surgery may be required as this Moon is traveling through his 8th house. This arrangement is strong for the next 7 months.

The Progressed Moon in Weinstein’s chart will be entering the 9^th house, in 4 months. During those 2.5 years, there will be more legal issues brewing for him. More than likely, after criminal cases wind down, the civil cases will commence. Legal matters haven’t yet scratched the surface for him. However, on a positive spectrum, the 9^th house also governs Spirituality. Perhaps for the first time, he may give in to a higher source and work through his wreckage. It’s never too late to change. However, that is a long journey that requires willingness and serious help.

His day to day freedom will be completely changed as the Quincunx from the progressed MC in Libra to his Sun in Pisces. The nature of a quincunx is the feeling of confinement, sacrificing, and adapting. Libra also governs lawsuits, open enemies, and justice. Pisces also rules prisons. This is not an easy position and one that will have a long-lasting impact on his remaining years.

The solar return is an excellent tool used to forecast from one birthday year the next birthday. Technically, the moment the natal Sun travels back to the same degree/minute/second (the birthday) a new chart is drawn. The moment that occurs, it represents the entire year at hand. In my professional opinion, it should be used as a confirmation to other significant forecasting tools.

Weinstein’s Solar Return seems difficult. The Moon in the Solar Return shows the emotional outlook for the year. Weinstein’s Solar Return moon is in Aquarius. Aquarius represents freedom and detachment. The aspect this Moon makes to Uranus in the 12^th house (freedom /confinement) is extremely difficult and upsetting for him. Being forced to submit, give in especially under confinement will not be an easy ride for him. It will be an extremely emotionally draining, chaotic, anxious, and restless year. Unfortunately, these cycles can bring up so emotional turmoil, it can be viewed as suicidal. The fragile emotional state can be like suicidal thoughts. However, thoughts do not always succeed in actions and I cannot forecast that because of ethical reasons. There is always free-will in a chart.

The next significant theme in his Solar Return is a stellium (cluster) of planets in the 9^th house, legal activity. This confirms the activity the progressed Moon will be making especially since the Solar Return moon is in the 9^th house as well.

The outlook for the year with Gemini Rising in the solar return demonstrates communication, media, and publicity, with the ruler in the 10^th house. Perhaps there may be a film or book written about or based on his life story.

His health looks severe in about 2 years as he will experience Solar Arcs to his Sun from Neptune and Jupiter. Though I’m cautious about forecasting any doom/gloom, I believe he will have to monitor his ability to function under isolation. Resistance will only bring further health serious complications. The challenge with him is that he is very strong-willed and has difficulty with giving in.

It’s often said that buying a tarot deck that you’ll use for yourself can cast a black cloud over your readings and affect your ability to unlock your full potential. Some of the most powerful psychics out there will swear that a tarot deck should be bought for you, given, and even in worst-case scenarios, STOLEN!

Anyone who’s spent a long time reading the cards is going to tell you that a tarot deck is an intensely personal tool, by receiving a deck from someone you care about, the deck becomes even more important to you because it was a gift. Some people believe that this is added personal value can not only enhance your connection to the cards but can augment the readings you get out of it. If you find that you usually attach sentiment value to belongings you received as gifts, it may work best for you if you do receive a tarot deck as a gift, rather than buying it for yourself.

Try as I might I haven’t been able to track down the origin of the idea that it’s improper or inauspicious to buy your tarot deck. In my family, this is one of our customs. To wait to be given a deck for card reading exemplifies patience, humility, and a true calling while buying one for yourself signifies vanity. While I don’t recommend anyone doing what I did, I had stolen my first deck as a child at the age of 10, due to hearing this myth. All in all, is this myth true? Most readers nowadays consider this to be nothing more than a myth and think nothing of it when buying a deck for themselves. I have not heard any horror stories yet, but I won’t be the one to give this myth a try either! However, with many things in the spiritual realm, this topic is very subjective. Some close reader friends of mine are highly gifted and connected to their cards while they were purchased by themselves, while my other friends believe that receiving a pack of tarot cards as a gift automatically blesses you with good luck. They feel it adds an extra element of magic and fascination to what is already an enchanting process. As with any superstition, there’s no way to tell if this one is true or not aside from buying yourself a deck and seeing what happens, only if you’re brave that is!

Mercury Retrograde 2/17-3/10

It’s that time of the year again. Mercury Retrograde starts February 17 through March 10th.

This retrograde will be in the sign of Pisces. Anticipate communication to become poetic, reflective, and dreamy. A Mercury Retrograde can cause a person think on a deeper level. Often, one can re-think things. Examining feelings and developing deep empathy is very possible.

The most challenging portion of this retrograde will occur between February 17 through the 22nd as Mercury is in a
Sesquiquadrate aspect to Saturn. That combination with Saturn and aspect will result in delays and communication loss. Be extra careful during these first few days in getting your income taxes processed.

After the 22nd of February, this retrograde improves especially when Mercury travels back into Aquarius on March 4. Mercury will enter a better place for thought, communication, and clarity.

Always avoid making purchases and signing contracts. In the event of a dire car repair, I advise using a rental car. Mercury rules cars and repair work is not recommended.

2 years ago an individual whom I met at a luncheon discussed purchasing a home as his work was relocating him to a new state. I was asked my opinion if it was a positive time to make such a change. Clearly, I stated it would not be. The response was a snickering eyebrow raise. Recently I was informed that the individual was terminated from his employment and had to relocate 200 miles for another job. He was stuck with the property he purchased and regretted buying the property.

Also, a friend recently shared that he filed a complaint 5 years ago with the Better Business Bureau in his city regarding a business. That complaint was dire at the time. The matter settled a few months later without a response from the BBB. Well, recently the BBB reached out to him to resolve the issue as if it were current. Well, I suppose its better late than never! Action taken on a retrograde can be delayed.

Also, this is an incredible time to make emotional and healing break-through. Scorpio can deeply beneath the surface to bring about necessary purging and transformation.

Since Pisces is water and Aquarius is electrical, under no circumstances should extensive home renovations be completed. be done in a household under this retrograde. It can lead to dissatisfactory results.

As usual, telephones and electronics are ruled by Mercury. So expect:

1) Major recalls.

2) Many technical errors.

3) The product is delayed and a new date is launched.

4) Loss.

The better date to purchase new devices will be after March 10. Some people may believe that insurance and warranties make it safer to purchase on a retrograde. That may hold, please know the keyword is SAFER, NOT SAFE. For those taking the plunge during the retrograde, another challenge that occurs is data loss by transferring from one device to another device under a retrograde. Also, having to re-transfer data again can be a time waste. You will be better off waiting.

Mercury retrograde offers an opportunity to handle unfinished business. However, it is not recommended to start new projects. Contracts and agreements need to be carefully analyzed before signing.

Under Mercury retrograde expect your electronic devices to crash. So making a backup is vital. Travel delays and traffic jams are normal.

Below are some DO’s and DON’T’s:

DO …

Review all documents before signing them carefully.
Add tracking and insurance to important mail and/or packages as Mercury has rulership with the post office and other mail couriers.
Give yourself extra time for appointments and travel.
Focus on the prefix, re: renew, review, revamp, redecorate, etc
Reunions with old friends and loved ones go great, however, be prepared for delays.
Expect to have contact with people from your past
Run antivirus software on your computer and other electronic devices.

DON’T
Make new purchases especially a car, technical equipment, telephone equipment and/or electronic equipment.
Sign contracts or make an oral agreement without scrutiny. Wait until Mercury turns direct. Yet waiting for the shadow to be completed gone will be better.
Make long term commitments
Turn in unchecked work.
Make a mass mailing hit the post office. Save your stamp expense until Mercury goes direct. Though electronic mass mailings do not cost, it would be better if it can be postponed until Mercury turns direct.

6) Make software updates.

Finally, expect some funky turn in events. Usually lost luggage is retrieved on a retrograde Mercury. I have heard stories of airlines “suddenly” delivering a suitcase many years later to the rightful owner. Retrieving others that were once lost is common. Also, expect certain gadgets to start working after they stopped.
