Astrological Meaning
A Thema Coeli provides the complete celestial framework from which an astrologer develops an interpretation. Its meaning does not rest on a single planet or sign; it emerges through the relationships among planetary condition, house placement, aspects, rulerships, sect, and other techniques appropriate to the tradition being used. The term emphasizes the chart as an organized whole. It should not be confused with the Medium Coeli, or Midheaven, which is one particular angle or point within a horoscope.
