Vendémiaire was the first month of the French Republican calendar introduced during the First French Republic. Named for the grape harvest, it began around the northern autumnal equinox and usually covered dates from late September to late October. The term belongs primarily to historical calendar terminology rather than to a distinct astrological doctrine or technique.

Astrological Meaning

In astrological research, a date recorded in Vendémiaire must be converted into the corresponding Gregorian or Julian date before a chart can be calculated reliably.
