Definition

Earth signs are Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn, one of the four elemental groups in the zodiac. The earth element is traditionally associated with material reality, stability, practicality, physical resources, and tangible results. Although these signs share an element, they express it differently through their modalities: Taurus is fixed, Virgo is mutable, and Capricorn is cardinal.

Astrological Meaning

In a natal chart, strong earth emphasis may suggest a grounded, methodical, or resource-conscious approach to life. Taurus often develops and preserves what has value; Virgo analyzes, refines, and improves; Capricorn organizes effort toward lasting aims.
