The celestial sphere helps astrologers translate three-dimensional astronomical motion into chart positions. The ecliptic, celestial equator, horizon, meridian, and zodiac can all be represented as circles upon it. Their intersections and divisions support essential measurements such as longitude, latitude, rising signs, house cusps, and planetary angles.
