Definition

A Grand Trine is an aspect pattern formed when three planets occupy positions approximately 120 degrees apart, creating three trine aspects and a large triangle in the chart. The planets usually fall in signs of the same element—fire, earth, air, or water—although the accepted orbs determine whether the pattern is considered valid.
