Crepuscule means twilight: the period of partial light before sunrise or after sunset. It is primarily a poetic or descriptive term rather than a standard astrological technique. In chart discussions, it may describe a birth or event occurring near dawn or dusk, when the Sun is close to the eastern or western horizon.

Astrological Meaning

Astrologically, crepuscule can symbolize transition, ambiguity, emergence, or closure because twilight lies between daylight and darkness. A chart cast for this time may place the Sun near the Ascendant or Descendant, but interpretation should rely on the Sun’s exact house, sign, aspects, and relationship to the horizon. In traditional astrology, twilight does not form a separate category of sect: whether a chart is diurnal or nocturnal generally depends on whether the Sun is above or below the horizon.
