Common Signs is a traditional name for the mutable signs: Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces. Positioned between the initiating cardinal signs and the stabilizing fixed signs, they mark the transition from one season to the next. Older texts may also call some of these signs double-bodied or bicorporeal, emphasizing flexibility and duality.
