In astrology, the circle conveys wholeness, continuity, and repeating cycles. Its twelve zodiacal divisions organize planetary positions by sign, while house cusps divide the chart according to a chosen house system. Angular distances measured around the circle create aspects such as conjunctions, squares, trines, and oppositions.
