Marriage in astrology refers to a formally recognized partnership and the chart factors traditionally associated with committed unions. Although older texts often treated marriage according to the social customs of their time, contemporary practice may apply these principles to many forms of long-term partnership, shared commitment, and contractual relationship.

In a natal chart, the seventh house, its ruling planet, and planets placed there are central to interpreting partnership patterns.
