Times are looking a bit shaky for Donald Trump. Based on several progressions and transits, his legal woes could potentially result in a guilty verdict. Conflict and notoriety certainly lie ahead. Some of his Saturn progressions indicate a serious and somber period, emphasizing the need for learning lessons and addressing karmic debt. With Saturn, you reap what you sow; actions have consequences. Trump was born with Uranus on the Midheaven (MC), conjunct the Sun and opposite the Moon. This placement suggests a great deal of originality, unconventional approaches, revolutionary goals, independence, constant spotlight, and innovation in his career path. The Midheaven in astrology represents career and public life, goals, reputation, authority, parental influence, and social contribution. Uranus is about breaking free and often involves divorce and separations. Combining these meanings, it seems Trump may face an enforced type of surrender. His Uranus-Midheaven conjunction in Gemini signifies a predisposition toward change and innovation. However, the current transit of Uranus through Taurus is resistant to change, and such stubbornness can lead to trouble. As Uranus continues moving through Taurus in June, it will square Trump’s Mars. This aspect can lead to aggression, violence, anger, disagreements, accidents, sudden shocks, restlessness, nervousness, and disruptions. Additionally, I’ve noted that Trump has some health concerns that need attention. Neptune and Pluto have been in a sextile aspect for over 50 years. I recall a client in 1995 who had an exact Yod from these two planets to her Ascendant and was diagnosed with cancer. While I am not suggesting that Trump will be diagnosed with cancer, Pluto in the 6th house (health and daily routines) is a significant placement. This Yod in his chart is active this summer. Since Leo, which rules the heart, is the sign receiving the Yod, cardiovascular issues could be a prime concern.

Mercury Retrograde 4/1-4/25

During Mercury retrograde in Aries, expect turbulence and volatility. Aries, known for its direct and forceful communication style, amplifies these traits, often leading to heated disputes fueled by emotions and obscure facts.

2023 Planetary Forecast

In this 2023 Planetary Forecast, you’ll notice few improvements and changes . A difficult portion of 2022 will finally be released as Mars turns direct on January 12. Protests and scandals start to resolve. Mars brings confrontations, upheavals, disagreements, violence, and infections. Mental and emotional volatility will stabilize. The Twitter fiasco could have been avoided if someone consulted an Astrologer prior. In the sign of Gemini, technology and communication improvements move forward. Perhaps there will be more changes in Twitter starting in February.

Projects that have stalled will finally get more momentum once Mars comes out of Retrograde on January 12. It will take another week for improvements as communication is still an issue. Though the above sounds promising, from the 18th of January we have another hurdle to overcome as both Mercury and Mars are in a quincunx aspect until January 23. A need to revamp agreements, plans, and ideas is likely. Careful with the security around technology; it’s a vulnerable period around hacking.

Pluto enters in Aquarius March 23: An entire book can be written on this; this is a watered-down version. Transcendental planets bring about new generational themes. When Pluto entered Capricorn in 2008, changes in Corporations and banking systems took place. The rise of the Kardashians blossomed.

When outer planets experience a change in sign, themes and fads shift. Pluto in Aquarius will bring Transformation in democracy. This is most certainly for the people, global causes, changes in artificial intelligence, technology, and more. When Uranus was in Aquarius, the rise of the internet grew as well as mobile phones, and mobile phones had internet on them. Expect more development in all appliances and technology. Robots may become the new norm in the years to come. We might see these metal creatures in supermarkets bagging our groceries or on the street doing the job of police officers. Though Pluto retrogrades back into Capricorn on June 11, final themes start the fading process so that once Pluto re-enters Aquarius in 2024 commences a new chapter.

Saturn enters in Pisces on March 7: Finally, there is a shift from Saturn in Aquarius’ detached and cerebral analysis to a sensitive/sacrificing sign. With the entrance into a new sign, there are learning lessons and changes around homelessness, special governmental assistance programs, prison systems, hospitals, health care, and more. Saturn in Pisces typically brings recognition and learning lessons around sacrifice. However, there is one golden nugget to this. Saturn is the taskmaster, and Pisces is the dreamer. When the 2 combine, dreams come true. Artistic projects take on a special shape such as special effects, animation, and other creative vessels blossom.

May 19-23 Caution alert: Careful with any type of travel. The volatility of Mars square Pluto can be devastating, combating, explosive, and violent. When these 2 are paired with each other in opposition, both have to give in and balance each other out. The 3rd planet combined is Jupiter. This adds extended issues to the planets in the opposition. The rule of thumb, a T square requires the opposition by the planet squaring both planets. Jupiter will require some type of understanding, generosity, and foreign aid. Brutal force is applied. Stock markets dip during this period. There may be some type of warfare, environmental, weather, earthquake, and volcano type of major eruption. The concern about this configuration is that it is highlighted by the Solar Eclipse a month prior.

Saturn sextille Jupiter 6/13-6/24: Growth and financial stability are strong. The markets will be doing much well, especially with Jupiter in a financial sign. For most of the last 2 years, conservative caution was recommended in financial portfolios. This will be an ideal period to rebalance investments.

January through April is a productive period for asserting new projects and exercising more drive with projects that have stalled.

Mars Retrograde

Each Mars retrograde differs based on the sign it occurs in. Currently, this Mars retrograde begins in the sign of Leo. The previous time Mars was retrograde in this position was between December 2009 and March 2010. While there are similarities, this retrograde will also move back into the sign of Cancer.

Reflect on what was happening in your life during the previous retrograde, as similar themes may arise. There is an emphasis on how assertively, passionately, and confidently you act and express yourself.

Expression and Barriers: Are you putting up walls? What might be hiding behind those walls? These are important questions to explore during this time.

Mars retrograde occurs approximately every 26 months and lasts for 70 to 80 days. Projects may stall, and energy levels can feel lower than usual. Impulsive actions and unrecognized anger can lead to arguments or accidents. Sexual activity may also feel less fulfilling or encounter challenges.

Textbooks suggest that suppressed frustrations can build up, leading to explosive, “volcano-like” emotional outbursts. Individuals may respond to setbacks with anger or violence rather than patience and dialogue. However, this retrograde also encourages deep introspection and transformative shifts, especially concerning communication.

This retrograde may lead to procrastination in communication, with assertive behaviors becoming more introspective. Passive-aggressive tendencies may surface, and you may encounter individuals who lack drive or fail to follow through on commitments.

Avoid Starting New Ventures. Launching a business or major project during this time can result in ongoing struggles, with actions progressing at a frustratingly slow pace.

Patience and re-evaluation: Instead of forcing progress, focus on refining plans, resolving hidden frustrations, and building inner strength.

Mars retrograde offers a chance to step back, reassess, and transform. By working with its energy constructively, you can prepare for a more productive and empowered phase ahead.

More importantly, steer away from major repairs, especially automotive repairs or purchasing a new vehicle.

Avoid surgery during a Mars retrograde. Since Mars governs destruction, deconstruction may become more understood after Mars turns direct. If an electronic gadget breaks down, a repair job will not cure the issue. A repair job during a Mars retrograde may result in another repair being needed. However, after the retrograde has ended, the problem can be better understood. Repair jobs include surgery. Avoid surgery during this timeframe if possible.

Nevertheless, being born with a Mars retrograde is much different from experiencing one during the cycle. A well-aspected Mars retrograde in an individual’s birth chart can produce a lot of success. Energy and initiative are internalized (retrograde). Usually, an individual competes with themselves. Many athletes are born with a well-aspected Mars retrograde. When Mars is aspected with challenging aspects, individuals may act hastily and often need to retrace and redo their steps.

There could be difficulties, arguments, and disagreements related to legal matters, religion, travel, and interactions with someone who may be very philosophical and/or have a very strong opinion. During this time, it would be wise to frame your intentions as a visionary. Keep the bigger picture in mind, especially when asserting your opinion as dogma.

One’s sexual drive during a Mars retrograde can change significantly. It has been stated that the level of satisfaction during a Mars retrograde can be difficult to achieve.

Political issues will be exaggerated in the news. Fires, possible protests, and “acts of God” will also be prominent themes. Hurricanes, floods, and possible earthquakes are strongly associated with this period.

During this cycle, there are likely to be upheavals. Scandalous battles may arise between presidential candidates. This is a strong placement for assault—verbal, physical, emotional, etc.

Technological breakdowns may occur, with website outages and security breaches making headlines, especially in the travel industry. Avoid major purchases of any kind if possible.

Fortunately, this cycle lasts only 80 days every 2 ½ years. On February 23, 2025, this retrograde will be completed.

Mars out-of-bounds

Mars is more than just the “God of war.” Mars describes what Venus enjoys and battles what Venus detests. Sex, assertion, drive, physical energy, competition, fire, anger, and war are ruled by Mars. Mars out-of-bounds is about to start.

Certain planets go out-of-bounds every few years. Usually, it is for a short 2-3 month period. The upcoming Mars out-of-bounds will enter on October 22, 2022, until May 5, 2023. Similar to sports, beyond the limits of the established field of play is where an out-of-bounds planet travels.

Some people born under the period of an out-of-bounds Mars may be labeled as aggressive. The adrenaline for such individuals may be interpreted as walking time bombs waiting to explode. This too is determined by the rest of the chart. An out-of-bounds planet does not respect limits or boundaries. It can generate genius a breakthrough. Negatively, it can become volatile and unacceptable to society.

Freedom is retaliated against Saturn’s limitations. This freedom for Mars is like a super Uranus which seeks to awaken and revolutionize and liberate. These energies are interwoven when there will be some type of need to break freefrom something.

The best way to understand the future is by looking at the past. The general rule of thumb is that the longer a cycle lasts, the longer and more significant the impact. The last time we had an out-of-bounds Mars last for many months was during 4/5/2001-10/20/2001. The major event that took place was 9/11. This does not mean that another worldwide catastrophe is forecasted. However, there will be national security changes taking place. Mars is also retrograde. Like in 2001, Mars was retrograde for a few months while it was out-of-bounds. A few weeks after it turned direct and remained out-of-bounds, 9/11 occurred.

Since Mars will be retrograde in Gemini (and will be covered separately,) this is the time to be extra careful with online security and online banking especially conducted via a Smartphone device. Though Gemini governs automotive, communication, local transportation, elementary schools, post offices, and communication carriers, this is a time to pay extra attention to any transaction with these institutions. Pay additional detail to passwords. The potential for hacking is strong. Also, for those driving cars with driving assistant, pay attention to how you rely on it. Recently, LAUSD was hacked. A ransom was rejected. The entire roster was exposed.

Mars is war. Could there be potential or just talk Gemini loves to talk, the short answer is yes. However, it is mutable and short-lived.

The financial markets may be a bit difficult. The last time another out-of-bounds Mars was in effect was during the period of 10/4/2007-4/25/2008. Certainly, with other planetary configurations, this is especially strong.

Though Mars out-of-bounds may seem to appear as violent, it can produce courage and physical abilities. Henry Kissinger had an out-of-bounds Mars in Gemini. He negotiated dialogues to end conflicts during the Vietnam War. Could this be a possible breakthrough with Biden? Maybe. Putin will have an impact. This too will be discussed at a later date.

The Progressed Lunation Cycle

Timing cycles are part of 28-year phases. There are around 2-3 in a lifetime. Each individual will experience a secondary progressed New Moon at some point in their life. This is estimated from the Progressed Sun to the Progressed Moon and becomes a highly individualized measurement that is divided into eight sections. The progressed Moon moves approximately 1 degree per month. Potent seeds for producing your life. Understanding what phase you are in now gives rise to understanding your full 28-year cycle ahead.

Similar to a monthly Moon cycle that farmers use to plant (Farmers Almanac,) the Moon cycle in a 28 year period can demonstrate the vibration you are on in terms of your career, financial, and relationship potentials.

The natal chart is stable. The modifications are represented by the progressed chart. Your chart grows, just like you. In the progressed chart, the Moon is the quickest moving body.

The Moon starts a waxing phase from a New to a Full Moon approximately every 27 – 28 days. In progressions, each day equals 1 year. The eight phases of the Moon are also applied in 27-28 year increments in your progressed chart as: New Moon, Crescent Moon, First Quarter, Gibbous Moon, Full Moon, Disseminating Moon, Last Quarter, and Balsamic Moon.
