Psychic Myths#3 Spells-Don’t Ever Fall For This!

I’ve listened it all at this point in my life. This contains silly Psychic Spells portrayed as rituals from cracking a coconut at an junction, getting a purification with a live chicken, or burning candles to rid terrible fate.

I believe amulets serve as a placebo effect so one can think more positive and make better or more effective efforts to improve circumstances. There is no way possible to make a cycle exit faster that influences a person’s life. However, I believe that applying mindfulness in interacting with others, regulating one’s behavior, and surely developing emotional strength gives rise to improving circumstances. So if an amulet can help with that – so be it. Maturity, therapy, spirituality, religion, new age, yoga, and more can lead one to the same path of mindfulness.

Mindfulness will not convert a non-interested person to become attracted to you suddenly. Also, mindfulness will not turn a non-interested business into hiring you. Instead, mindfulness can lead you to understand and accept the circumstances, create a better life (change,) and conger new prosperous ideas. Unfortunately, those that develop spells do not understand that concept. After all, their goal isn’t to help; it’s to collect payment. There is a hidden agenda fueled by deception and psychosis by such “spell casters.”

For example, I know someone that underwent significant career hardship. She worked very hard, and the results generated were minimal. She was extremely dissatisfied. Surely, she did many things, burn candles, etc..

However, she needed was an accurate reading to get to the core of her career issues. First, she needed to re-evaluate the path she was pursuing. Next, she had to go back to college. Later on, after a few years, she became a successful entrepreneur.

Being able to have a clear cut reading to explore options and see other areas, she could also manifest into success was more important for her.

I am a firm believer in fixing a problem. When there is a problem, there are 2 solutions: do something about it or do nothing. At the core of the issue, it’s essential to know where one’s potentials can be used more successfully.

When it comes to love, the same thing applies. There are patterns that one may need to change and personal issues/baggage that may need resolution. Also, sometimes, it is a timing issue. Surely to create a spell/amulet etc.. to attract, isn’t going to change a person’s destiny.

It gives our industry a bad wrap when a fake psychic abuses a client by claiming he/she has a spell and must pay to have that hex removed. Seriously?! There’s just no way possible that one can shoot something into the sky to make a cycle enter or exit any faster.

I believe in the power of timing and strength of change over time. The best analogy I can correlate is losing weight. It requires perseverance, discipline, hard work, restriction, and time. If you want to change, you need to make it happen. Moreover, an accurate reading can look into the timing of when such changes will take place, and the best course of action to change in making possibilities happen. No silly hocus-pocus or breaking a coconut will do the trick. Besides, there are better things one can do with a coconut!

Psychic Myths#2: Psychic Reuniting Lovers (Gasp!)

I flinch when I see a definition of a psychic contending to reunite split lovers. I find it amusing and unfortunate. My take is simple: If ripped lovers are destined to reunite, they will. Surely, there is timing that goes hand in hand with this case too.

From a more realistic approach to this matter, relationship skills need to be cultivated. These skills encompass communication skills, empathy, fulfilling partners’ emotional needs, communicating needs, being able to work on personal issues/triggers, communicating upset, knowing how to handle stress and difficulties. These skills are life skills that are learned through trial and error.

In all honesty, if a psychic could reunite, do you think this “super-powerful hero” would even bother working? Seriously, if I possessed such power myself, I would undoubtedly find a way to get everything I wanted, whenever, however, etc. Many Hollywood executives would have made sure particular Hollywood power couples would reunite or stay together to protect their investment.

Now from a more realistic point of view, I believe that thoroughly understanding the relationship chemistry, potentials, and pitfalls; one can learn with depth how to relate better to a mate. However, without making a conscious effort to work things out, nothing is going to bind a couple.

The best example I can share is about an acquaintance that married an abusive alcoholic. She had a “psychic witch” perform rituals to reunite her with her abusive husband. Well, technically the man contacted her after they broke up (coincidence.) In their meet up, he beat her again. She got a restraining order thanks to the shiner he gave her left eye. He found a new love potential too behind bars as he was had many criminal legal woes also that resulted in a 10-year prison conviction.

Now if we dissect those 2, his abusive behavior and drinking were detrimental to any relationship. It would seem logical he would have to work on those 2 issues before being involved with anyone as it’s clear that emotionally he was not available. So why would anyone want to get together with someone like this? Codependence! Does that show up in a reading? Yes. This too can be worked on by dissecting the roots of the person. Though psychotherapy does this for most, an accurate reading can examine core issues at hand and get to the origins of the individual.

It takes recovering from the stages of grieving, chemistry, character, destiny, willingness to change.

Myths Psychic Lotto Numbers! LOL

In my earlier days of doing readings via the telephonee in the early ’90s, I had callers requesting for “Lucky Lotto numbers.” Instantly I grinned. My immediate response was, “If I could do that, do you think I’d be speaking to you right now?!” This lucky numbers fable is also shared in newspaper horoscopes, fortune cookies, and other types of materials.

A reader cannot forecast winning numbers. I do believe there are more favorable periods that can come into abundance. That is something I can extract down to precise dates.

In my professional opinion, I believe that if one is destined to win, one will do so regardless of the specific numbers chosen. In fact, with “quick pick” available on most lottery systems, I recommend playing that option instead of under financial abundance cycles. When those times arrive, I also advise playing in moderation. I have to be very practical about this matter. Being lucky in this type of speculation must be tied to one’s destiny.

Even during my most favorable and lucky periods, I walked away, breaking even or winning a few dollars. While I was driving 2 weeks ago, cash was flying all over the street. Naturally, I stopped my car and collected $1 bills. My total accumulation was $13! However, technically, it was lucky.

I have a relative who is middle class and had a reasonably paying job. He had occasional lucky spurts of winning $3000 here and there. I have seen him win at the horse track too. However, he never won anything severe.

Technically speaking, the winners of millions are rare. In their energy, there are drastic financial changes on the horizon. Now in a reading, I am careful with interpreting it as lottery winnings. Financial abundance can come in so many ways.

For some people, a significant financial windfall may not occur for years or decades. Though it’s great to know such periods for potential can be maximized to the fullest, I am too realistic to give into lofty lottery notions.

Lucky numbers are one of those things that are over-commercialized to gain attention. I would even reason that if one continues to play the same numbers over and over, there could be odds of winning. But then again, I think the more realistic approach to this is destiny and timing, not specific numbers.

Part 3 Psychic Testing Done Wrong Versus Right

Psychic Testing: In the last few weeks, we analogized our Psychic applicant testing practices to a business whom we referred to as “Sign Up.” We marked them Sign Up because anyone could sign up to be a Psychic on their website.

Recently, Sign Up has administered multiple-choice tests to their Psychic staff regardless of the number of years listed. We had to chime in and state that a multiple-choice test has disadvantages, especially when the psychic and prospective candidate is taking the test online from the comfort of his/her home.

Indeed, anyone can take a test on another’s behalf. Also, such an analysis is an open book test. Anyone can “Google” answers to questions.

More importantly, a multiple-choice test on the Tarot seems ineffective. We heard about such a test that contained questions such as: “How many cards are in a Tarot deck?” “What does a card in a reversed position of a card mean?” and “What does the Tower card represent?”

Education and knowledge are never wasted efforts. We believe there is a fine line between theory versus application of any art or science. Surely application wins out at the end of the day. .Most definitely, a talent reader will have enough desire to know the technical. A good reading is always solid. Even if a reader can answer all those multiple-choice questions correctly, it will not make the reader extraordinary.

This is why on AbsoluteyPsychic.com we schedule a 1 on 1 telephone test with the Psychic applicant. They have to provide a reading for us. We tell them, “I need information on XYZ. What do you see? ” This is very similar to a singer on American Idol. It’s a cut and dry process. If the singer sounds great, then they may win. The same concept applies to our testing. Was there skill, accuracy, and real talent in work. It is a no-brainer.

When we hear about multiple tests administered by Sign-Up, it sparks our passion for speaking up about this because a company’s procedure does not make it an industry standard.

I can go out on a limb and give my humble opinion about this. More than likely, the reason why such a multiple-choice test exists is that they are testing over 700 Psychics at once. Automation saves time and money.

Remember those standardized tests such as SAT’s, GMAT, etc.? Back in my days, we used a number 2 pencil to fill in the bubble for those types of multiple-choice tests on a scorecard. Those cards were placed into a device slot that would immediately grade by the answer. There wasn’t an instructor to grade the card. It saves time! The same concept applies to Sign Up.

Finally, it came to my attention that Sign Up charged their registered Psychic readers an administrative fee upon registration. Gosh, I can chew this in a million pieces. I can state that from an ethical point of view, this is questionable. 99.999% of all employment never charge a fee unless equipment or merchandise is exchanged.

I believe every company has the right to structure the process that works for them. Our industry has been a niche. I share my opinion because I’m from the dinosaur era from a previous Psychic Network in the late ’80s and early ’90s. I think outside the box and know there are always multiple ways to complete a task. However, I have never seen an open book multiple-choice test as a screening process for Psychic ability in working 37 years of being in this industry. Part 2 Psychic Testing Done Wrong Versus Right

From Coordinator 2: My testing style on Psychics

When I perform test reading evaluations on the APN, accuracy in the present or past circumstances are very important for me. At the same time, I like the directions being followed. To me, what an applicant says on the phone word for word is magnified even more if it were a client. So I treat every nuance with the utmost care.

Before working in the HR department on APN, I worked in HR for a well known governmental agency. So screening for skill and authenticity has always been my forte. Admittedly, I’ve had instances where applicants do not live up to standards. Example: I’ve had a situation where an applicant was reading from a book. My “testing muscles” have been exercised so many times that I can immediately tell. With great amusement, I know what to say to throw them off track. This is what I was trained to do working before APN.

For the most part, psychic skills always shine through instantly. I keep an open mind to the fact that not everyone is going to connect with me on a level that may seem perfect. The reason for that is because the chemistry between 2 people always dictates. In those circumstances, a second test may be more appropriate with another evaluator. I have 3 choices: yes, no, maybe. The feasible option is only if the reading was just ok. That is when another evaluator will conduct another evaluation and have my notes on why it was a maybe. Sometimes it can be an easy pass for the 2nd evaluator. Perhaps it was due to the time of the day, the chemistry with a different evaluator, or more confidence set in.

Finally, I am the first to admit that I am not the easiest to read. To some, I may come across as too “by the rules.” However, if one can do a reading for me, then the toughest client will be a breeze to read.

Psychics Vary in Development

Psychics readers develop their talents various ways.

For myself, I have found reflection, chakra alignment, crystals, operating with the Akashic Records, journaling, and learning with professional psychics to be the best means in expanding my intuition.

Meditation is vital because it will center you. It will help you gain focus and more importantly help you access certain energy planes that are visible only to the mind’s eye. As a form of decompressing, it is important to release blockages. The art of concentration is experienced in a deep meditation. Meditating on a daily basis surely helps grow that focus and train the mind. To this day I use meditation to focus. Though the amount of time I meditate has lessened greatly over the years, I always enjoy going back to basics.

Depth

A deeper meditation using the chakras helps open up the third eye. It also helps in aligning all your energies together so you can be charged up. This in turn can be done with crystals. There is a lot of information on crystals. Ultimately finding one that works best for your meditation is vital.

Accessing the Akashic Records requires being centered. Information perceived and digested into accurate received messages takes time one must learn to discern between actual messages versus the mind just rambling of its own accord. This is where the bulk of training time takes place.

For this reason I recommend journaling. Keep a record of all messages, dates, and follow up information. It helps to go back to previous notes. Though you may not think it beneficial, making errors is important because this is where the growth process begins.

Trying to find a teacher can be tricky. There’s a difference between finding a skilled practioner versus finding a practioner able to coherently teach the material so that it reaches the student. Sometimes one has to go through different teachers to finally grasp a technique in a way that is right for you. I have met psychics that have family members that influenced and mentored their gifts. This can be positive, but it can also bring challenges. I have always believed that one can’t ever be too perfect in a craft. There is always room for growth.

Other forms of divination may pique your interest. Scrying is one of my favorites. I like looking into a glass of water to help me read the energy. Some psychics are able to pick up on symbols. Others enjoy hearing and using their clairaudience.

Personally, I have developed my use of psychometry. Just looking and/or holding an object has developed my psychic abilities over the years.

Finally

There are many wonderful tools available that act as a gateway to enriching and deepening one’s psychic ability.

Like all forms of art, there is no hard and fast rule. There are many different approaches to psychic development. I do believe that consistency, time, concentration, and dedication will bear results.
