The term may describe the succession of zodiac signs, houses, planetary periods, aspects, or repeated chart events. It is a general organizational term rather than a single technique with one universally accepted definition, so its precise meaning depends on the tradition and context in which it appears.

Astrological Meaning

A series helps an astrologer follow development from one stage to another. The zodiac forms a series of twelve signs, while the houses create a sequence of life topics beginning with the Ascendant.
