Equal Houses

Definition

Equal Houses is a house system that divides the zodiac into twelve sections of exactly 30 degrees each. The first house begins at the degree of the Ascendant, with every following cusp placed 30 degrees farther along the zodiac. Unlike quadrant systems, the Midheaven does not necessarily form the cusp of the tenth house.
