2025 Forecast

In the last two weeks, I covered the changes that will take place as Neptune and Uranus shift into new signs this year in this 2025 Forecast.

There’s a lot to unpack over the next few months. Jupiter and Saturn are also changing signs, signaling shifts in energies, interests, and topics. While it’s impossible to cover every cycle in one article, I’ll touch on key themes as the year unfolds.

Currently, Mars retrograde in Cancer is also out-of-bounds. Review a previous Mars out of bounds period and compare it to the current period.  Mars rules fire, protests, drive, and enthusiasm. When out of bounds, its energy feels amplified, like an exclamation point. The retrograde slows things down, improving after mid-February when Mars turns direct. Its out-of-bounds status ends in mid-April. Expect news on Los Angeles wildfires and emerging details to dominate headlines.

We’re also approaching a significant astrological event: the Saturn-Neptune conjunction from June 8 to August 23. The last time this occurred was in 1989, coinciding with major transformations like the fall of the Berlin Wall and the collapse of the Soviet Bloc. Saturn brings structure, while Neptune inspires dreams, compassion, and the big picture. Together, they ask us to “dream big, but make it real.”

Key Themes of the Saturn-Neptune Conjunction

Building Dreams, Tearing Down Walls: This energy supports tackling challenges like climate change and social justice by grounding lofty ideals in practical action.

Out with the Old: Outdated systems, governments, and ideologies may crumble, creating space for better, more inclusive structures.

A Spiritual Awakening: Many may feel drawn to unity, mindfulness, and healing practices, fostering collective growth.

Facing Illusions: Neptune can blur reality, but Saturn pushes for truth. This may reveal flaws in beliefs, leaders, or systems we once trusted.

Compassionate Action: Expect reforms in areas like poverty, mental health, and environmental issues, blending practical solutions with care.

Environmental Awareness: The late 1980s saw a rise in global awareness of issues like climate change and ozone depletion. Neptune’s connection to water and the environment, combined with Saturn’s focus on responsibility, prompted international discussions about sustainability.

This conjunction happens on the zero Aries axis, often signaling global shifts. Countries may collaborate more, with organizations like NATO and the UN playing key roles.

Lastly, Saturn’s grounding influence may stabilize areas disrupted by inflation during Jupiter’s 2022 conjunction with Neptune. Expect shifts in public assistance, boating, marine life, ocean conservation, gun laws, and environmental policies. This is a powerful time for turning visionary ideas into concrete change.

Uranus Shift into Gemini

Uranus, the planet of change, surprises, and breakthroughs, will enter Gemini on July 7, 2025. This shift is bound to shake things up, especially in areas like communication, technology, and how we connect with each other. Let s explore what Uranus in Gemini might bring and take a trip back in time to see what happened the last time this powerful transit occurred.

When Uranus moves into Gemini, it s like adding an electric charge to how we talk, learn, and interact. Here s what we might expect:

Big Tech and Innovation:  Get ready for some jaw-dropping advances in communication and transportation technology. Think next-level AI, quantum computing, or even new ways to travel that make the world feel smaller than ever.

Rethinking Media and Information:
How we share and consume information could see a complete overhaul. Social media might evolve (or dissolve), and journalism could transform in surprising ways.

Education Gets a Makeover:
Traditional classrooms? Maybe not for long. Digital learning and decentralized education models could take the lead such as remote learning and more..

Social Shifts:  Gemini loves change, and Uranus loves rebellion. Together, they could spark shifts in societal norms, relationships, and global connections.

Global Connectivity:  Expect to see an even more interconnected world, where advances in communication and transportation make international collaboration a daily reality.

What Happened the Last Time Uranus Was in Gemini (1942 1949)

The last Uranus-in-Gemini transit was a whirlwind of historical and cultural change. Here are some highlights:

World War II (1942 1945):
During this time, there were groundbreaking developments in communication technology, like radar and encryption machines, and advancements in transportation, like better aircraft.

The Start of the Cold War (1947):
The ideological tug-of-war between capitalism and communism began, a perfect reflection of Gemini s dual nature.

The Dawn of Computers (1945):
The first computers, like the ENIAC, came into existence, laying the foundation for the digital revolution.

Global Collaboration:
The United Nations was formed in 1945, marking a significant step toward international communication and cooperation.

Cultural Shifts:
The rise of mass media, like radio and early television, began connecting people in new ways. Scientific advancements, including the atomic age, highlighted humanity s potential and its risks.

Fast-forward to 2025, and we re likely to see echoes of these themes but on a whole new level:

  • Tech Breakthroughs: Think smarter communication tools and faster, more efficient transportation.
  • Challenging Norms: Expect debates over the role of technology and how we share information.
  • Adapt or Innovate: With the pace of change accelerating, flexibility will be key to navigating the Uranus-in-Gemini era.

So, whether you re a tech enthusiast, a social change-maker, or just curious about what the future holds, Uranus in Gemini promises an exciting, unpredictable ride.

I am expecting changes with communication, postal service, delivery services, Amazon, and transportation. I am also expecting changes in automobiles. When we layer in robots and Gemini, the self-driving car/robotic car, is a reality. What if a metal tin can robot became your chauffer? Funny enough, it may very well have names like twin, Gemini, Hermes, Mercury, and other depictions of Gemini themes.

Neptune Shift into Aries

Neptune is about to move into Aries on March 30, 2025, and it’s a pretty big deal. Neptune, the planet of dreams, illusions, and spirituality, is shifting into Aries, the sign that s all about action, independence, and bold moves. These two energies don t always blend easily, so the vibe will be a bit of a mix. On one hand, we could see a lot of visionary ideas and creative energy, but on the other, we might also experience a lot of confusion or impulsive decisions. Aries loves to charge ahead, but Neptune could make us want to follow our dreams without always thinking things through.

During this transit (which lasts until 2038!), we might feel a push to explore new personal and spiritual territories. People could get super idealistic, thinking they re destined to lead or break new ground. But with Neptune involved, it’s important to stay grounded, as it s easy to get lost in illusions or unrealistic goals.

Now, the last time Neptune was in Aries was from 1856 to 1870, and it was a pretty intense time. Let s look at what happened back then:

  1. The American Civil War (1861 1865): This was a time of massive conflict, and Neptune in Aries could have contributed to people being fueled by strong ideals like the abolition of slavery while also making it harder to see the full consequences of their actions. There was a lot of confusion and chaos, but also a deep drive to push for moral and political change.

  2. Big Scientific Discoveries: This era also saw breakthroughs in science, like Charles Darwin s theory of evolution. With Neptune s dreamy, idealistic energy and Aries pioneering spirit, we saw people boldly questioning old ideas and exploring new territory, whether that was intellectual or physical. Expect major breakthroughs in medicine, illness cures, and more.

  3. Art and Culture: The 1800s were full of artistic revolutions, with movements like Romanticism challenging the status quo. Neptune in Aries likely fueled creative minds to break free from tradition, blending art with emotion and new ideas. There was a sense of rebellion against the norm, and artists wanted to express their true selves.

  4. Colonialism: Unfortunately, Neptune s influence wasn t always positive. The period saw continued colonial expansion, often romanticized or justified in a way that masked the brutal realities. Neptune s foggy energy can sometimes lead to idealistic thinking that ignores the darker sides of human behavior.

  5. Social Movements: On a more hopeful note, the mid-1800s also saw the rise of movements for women s rights and other social changes. Neptune s dreamy influence combined with Aries’ drive for independence helped spark a desire for personal freedom and social equality, although it often clashed with the realities of a deeply entrenched societal system.

So, looking ahead to Neptune s next trip through Aries, we could see a lot of fresh thinking around personal identity, spirituality, and creativity. But, just like in the 1800s, it s important to be cautious of falling into illusions or getting too caught up in dreams that are hard to achieve. It ll be a time of breaking new ground but also navigating the tension between idealism and reality.
