Lilith most commonly refers to Black Moon Lilith, a calculated point representing the Moon’s apogee—the part of its orbit farthest from Earth. It is not a physical planet and is primarily used in modern astrology rather than the classical tradition. Astrologers may use the mean or true position, which can produce different chart placements. Black Moon Lilith should also be distinguished from asteroid Lilith and the hypothetical Dark Moon Lilith.

Astrological Meaning
