Hades is a hypothetical point used mainly in Uranian, or Hamburg School, astrology. It is one of eight proposed Trans-Neptunian factors calculated from an assumed orbit rather than identified as a confirmed physical planet. Hades is interpreted through its zodiacal position, house placement, aspects, midpoints, and contacts with other chart factors.

Astrologers who use Hades associate it with what is hidden, neglected, deteriorating, burdensome, or rooted in the past. It may also symbolize humility, service, research, antiquities, waste, scarcity, and encounters with uncomfortable realities.
