Clairaudience means “clear hearing” and refers to the intuitive perception of words, sounds, names, or messages without an obvious external source. Experiences described this way may resemble an inner voice, a sudden phrase, or a strong auditory impression. Clairaudience belongs primarily to psychic and spiritual traditions rather than to the formal methods of classical astrology.

Astrological Meaning

In contemporary intuitive astrology, clairaudience may be associated symbolically with Mercury, the third house, and the air signs because they relate to language, messages, and mental processing. Neptune, Pisces, and the twelfth house may also be considered when discussing imagination, subtle perception, or receptive states. Some astrologers explore close Mercury–Neptune contacts or a strongly emphasized intuitive chart signature, but no single placement establishes clairaudient ability. A natal chart can suggest preferred ways of processing impressions; it cannot verify the source or accuracy of what is perceived.
