This arc averages about one degree per year, although the exact rate varies. Unlike transits, solar arcs do not track planets’ current positions; unlike secondary progressions, all directed points move at one shared rate.
Astrological Meaning
Astrologers interpret close aspects between directed points and natal planets or angles as indicators of developing themes.
