Definition

A Composite Chart is a single horoscope created from the mathematical midpoints between two people’s corresponding natal-chart factors. For example, the midpoint of their two Suns becomes the composite Sun, while the midpoint of their two Moons becomes the composite Moon. Unlike synastry, which compares two separate birth charts, a composite chart represents the relationship as a distinct entity.

Astrological Meaning

Astrologers interpret the composite planets, houses, signs, aspects, and angles to explore the relationship’s overall character. The composite Sun may describe its central purpose, the Moon its emotional atmosphere, Venus its style of affection, and Saturn its responsibilities or constraints.
